Introducing Bees to the Fields of Les Seviques: One More Step towards Sustainability
At the Les Seviques team, we are pleased to announce a new stage in our commitment to regenerative agriculture: the integration of bees into our fields. This initiative aims to further improve our agricultural processes, promoting biodiversity and contributing to the well-being of our crops.
With the integration of bees in our fields, Les Seviques is starting a new stage in its mission towards regenerative agriculture. This initiative goes beyond simple agricultural production; it is a decisive step towards a healthier and more balanced agricultural ecosystem.
Bees, as the main pollinators, play a crucial role in this mission. Their activity helps to increase crop production, improving both the quantity and quality of our products. In addition, the presence of bees in our fields contributes to the overall health of agricultural ecosystems.
We could say that the integration of bees in our fields not only improves agricultural production, but also contributes to the maintenance of ecological balance and the general well-being of our crops.
What bees contribute to Regenerative Agriculture
- Effective pollination: Bees are known for their ability to pollinate a wide variety of plants, thereby increasing the yield of our crops.
- Species Diversity: The presence of bees in our fields encourages the diversity of plant species, as they help pollinate a wide range of plants, contributing to the richness and variability of our agricultural ecosystems.
- Ecological Balance: Bees contribute to maintaining the balance of agricultural ecosystems, since they pollinate the plants necessary for the maintenance of this balance. Their activity is an indicator of the health of our fields and the proper functioning of our agricultural system.
- Environmental Quality: A healthy bee population indicates a balanced and sustainable agricultural environment. Their presence is a testament to the quality of the environment and the success of our sustainable agricultural practices.
Beekeeping training
Continuing with our commitment to regenerative agriculture, this weekend we received theoretical-practical training in Basic Apiary Management, given by the company By Bruno Mieles del Perelló. This training will allow us to acquire the necessary knowledge to properly manage the bee colonies on our farm, ensuring their well-being and their contribution to biodiversity.
We are grateful for sharing your knowledge and experience with us, and we are excited to embrace this new stage in our journey towards a more sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Achieving a change in the way we grow our produce. Instead of depleting our resources, we strive to return to the earth what belongs to it: fertility, biodiversity and nutrients. Establishing a commitment to soil health, water conservation and reducing carbon emissions.
Thank you for being part of our commitment to the environment and the health of our planet.
